Rose Ann Wilson, 74

Rose Ann Wilson, 74, of Saint Anthony, died at 5:07 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Brookside Village in Jasper.

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on October 8, 1940, to Herbert and Ardella (Stenftenagel) Hopf. She married William J. Wilson on July 8, 1967 in St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2006.

Rose was a graduate of Ireland High School where she was the valedictorian of her class.

Rose retired from Smitty Farm Equipment store in Jasper where she had worked for 35 years. She also worked at Shoe Show and Goodies in Jasper.

She is a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church.

She enjoyed her grandchildren, family and friends. Her hobbies; country music, sewing and her flower garden.

She is survived by three sons, Mark Wilson of Huntingburg, Jason Wilson and wife Teresa of Blacksburg, Vir. and Steve Wilson of Huntingburg; four grandchildren, William and Riley, Noah and Liam; three sisters, Betty Edwards and husband Richard of Ireland, Sylvia Fleck and Husband Gilbert of Ferdinand and Marilyn Burris and husband Jerry of Jasper; three brothers, William Hopf and wife Darlene of Jasper, Ralph Hopf and wile Carol of Ireland and Gary Hopf and wife Kathy of Jasper.

Preceding her in death besides her husband is one daughter, Lisa Rose Wilson.

Funeral services for Rose Ann Wilson will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2015, in Saint Anthony Catholic Church with burial to follow in Saint Anthony Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time at Saint Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony.
