Rosemarie E. (Rose) Rebber, 88

Rosemarie E. (Rose) Rebber, 88, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:58 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

Rose was born in Holland, IN on March 6, 1926 to Andrew Sr. and Bertha (Ring) Meyer. She married Ralph E. Rebber on August 6, 1949 in Holland IN. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1984.

Rose worked as a bookkeeper for Holland Dairy in Holland, and Whirlpool in Evansville, and later retired from Sears in Jasper as a retail sales clerk.She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper, IN, and had been a founding member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Evansville. She had a great love for studying the bible, spending 14 years in Bible Study Fellowship in Evansville. She enjoyed listening to Elvis and the Gaither Brothers, as well as talking family history and politics.

She is survived by two sons, Donald Rebber of Jasper and Stan Rebber and his wife Kathy, of Kokomo; one brother; Andrew Meyer Jr. and his wife Vilene, of Jasper; 16 nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death besides her husband were two sisters, Betty Lou Meyer and Ellen Bruns, and two brothers Kenneth W. and Marvin Meyer.

Funeral services for Rose Rebber will be held at 3 p.m on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Jasper, IN. Reverend Adam Ruschau will officiate.

Friends may call from 1:00 until the 3:00 p.m. service time on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jasper.
