Saint Meinrad Archabbey Oblate meeting set

The Benedictine Oblates of Saint Meinrad Archabbey, Jasper Chapter will meet on Thursday, October 7 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. EST in Cherry Meeting Room A at the new Jasper Public Library, located in the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center.

Chapter members will meet for fellowship and the customary evening prayer of Vespers according to the Liturgy of the Hours for Benedictine Oblates of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. Anyone interested in attending is also welcome.

Benedictine Oblates seek God through living, working, and praying according to the 1,500-year-old Rule of St. Benedict.  St. Benedict of Nursia lived in fifth-century Italy and is considered the founder of Western Christian monasticism.
