Shared Abundance receives $12,000 grant from Superior Ag

Superior Ag presented a $12,000 donation to Shared Abundance in Huntingburg.

Superior Ag’s president & CEO Barry Day presented the donation check to the local food bank in Huntingburg as well as another $12,000 to the Tri-State Food Bank in Evansville.

The donation was made through efforts by Superior Ag and Land O’Lakes Inc. Foundation. Land O’Lakes is committed to rural communities and matches donations made by local cooperatives to enhance the quality of life.

“Our local farm families feed and fuel the world and we are committed to do the same. We are honored to support local food banks to help fight hunger,” Day said. “With our donation, they can provide nutritious, healthy, and wholesome meals to local families in need who reside in our cooperative footprint.”

Superior Ag not only cares about their employees, they care about local communities too. Through monetary donations, employee involvement and partnerships, Superior Ag is committed to support local organizations, schools, FFA chapters, 4-H clubs, fire departments and various community projects.  Superior Ag is committed to give back to the communities where customers and employees cultivate a living, the co-op state in a press release.
