Shelby Schnuck, 85

Shelby Schnuck, 85, of Lamar, Indiana, died on Sept. 18, 2015 at his home.

He was born on Sept. 20, 1929 to Waldo (Sam) Edward and Rosa Amelia (Schweizer) Schnuck.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ. Shelby loved his church community, his family and farm. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs also. Shelby had a lawn mower repair shop where he enjoyed doing his repair work up until his final months.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Paul Richard Schnuck, who died in infancy, Ervin Otto Schnuck, who died in 2007, and Glenn Schnuck, who died 2013.

Shelby is survived by a niece, nephew and friends.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. CST Friday, Sept. 25, at Fuller Funeral Home.

Graveside Service Saturday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m. CST at St. John’s United Church of Christ Cemetery (Clay City).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Spencer County Humane Society.
