Shelia Kay Pitsonbarger, 50

Shelia Kay Pitsonbarger, age 50, of Corydon, Kentucky, formerly of Stendal, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Kentucky.

She was born January 21, 1963 in Huntingburg, Indiana to Clifton E. and Margaret Joyce (Weitkamp) Hagemeyer. Shelia was united in marriage to Lyle William Pitsonbarger, Jr. on November 26, 1986 in Henderson, Kentucky.

She was a restaurant worker, enjoyed playing the piano, and centered her life around her family.

She was preceded in death by: her mother, Margaret Joyce Hagemeyer, who died April 10, 2012.

She is survived by: her husband, Lyle William Pitsonbarger, Jr. of Corydon, KY; two daughters, Kimberly Pitsonbarger and Christine Pitsonbarger both of Corydon, KY; one son, Lyle Pitsonbarger III of Corydon, KY; her father, Clifton E. Hagemeyer of Stendal, IN; one sister, Sandra (Timothy) Culbertson of Stendal; one brother, Ryan J. (Rachel) Hagemeyer of Stendal, IN; and one granddaughter, Abbigail Rice residing at home.

Funeral services for Shelia Kay Pitsonbarger will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at the Zoar United Methodist Church in Zoar, Indiana with burial to follow in Zoar Cemetery. The Rev. Marianne Hawkins will officiate at the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00-8:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Tuesday.
