Stephanie S. Schnellenberger Tropp, 72, Indianapolis

Stephanie S. Schnellenberger Tropp, 72, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.    

Stephanie was born in Huntingburg on February 24, 1949, to Charles and Muriel Schnellenberger.    

Stephanie had a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from USI and worked in various nursing homes and group homes. She enjoyed spending time with family and her dog Pookie. She also enjoyed meeting new friends online and watching her favorite TV programs.    

She is survived by one son, Michael Tropp and his wife Stephanie Tropp of Jasper; one grandson, one sister, Andrea Nolan of Greenfield, Ind.; two nephews and three nieces.    

Preceding her in death were her parents and sister.    

A visitation time will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a Mass to follow at St. Mary’s Church in Huntingburg.
