Suzanne H. Cooper, 72, of Huntingburg, passed away at 11:03 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born August 23, 1942 in Huntingburg to John and Florence (Krempp) Struckman. She married Charles “Sonny” Cooper on June 4, 1984. Mrs. Cooper graduated from Indiana University with an education degree and later retired from being a school teacher.  She was also one of the co-founders of Cooper Rail Services.  Suzanne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, being at Patoka Lake, reading and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny, who passed away on April 16, 2015; as well as her parents; and a brother, Scott Struckman.

Suzanne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, being at Patoka Lake, reading and gardening. She is survived by her daughter, Kari Cronin, and her husband Mike, of Huntingburg; two sons, Ryan Cooper and his wife Jill of Huntingburg and Kit Cooper and his wife Arin of Huntingburg; two sisters, Jane Manuzak of Blairsville, Geo.; Jill Kirkpatrick of Surprise, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Bailey, Jaxon and Kyree Cronin, Masen and Jaelyn Cooper, Brooklyn and Braxtyn Cooper, all of Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation for Suzanne H. Cooper, on Monday, June 29th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. EDT at the Nass and Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg.

A prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday evening, at the funeral home.
