Tom (Tommy) Alan Nottingham, 56, Jasper

Tom (Tommy) Alan Nottingham of Jasper passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of 56.

He was born on April 16, 1967, in Evansville.

He grew up in Posey County with his two younger brothers and graduated from North Posey High School in 1985. He graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Management in 1990, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Throughout his career in Finance, he spent the majority of his time as a Controller for various companies.

Tom was passionate about the game of basketball, which he began coaching at the age of 19 at the Salvation Army in 1986. He continued to coach his kids and their friends throughout his life.

Tom was preceded in death by his father John Robert Nottingham.

Tom is survived by his children Brittaney, Tyler, and Brooke; his mother Mickey; his brothers Scott (Lori) and Andy; and his niece and nephew Nettie and Beau Nottingham. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private burial will be held on the morning of Saturday, August 19, in Poseyville City Cemetery. All are welcome to join us for a Celebration of Life following at 1:00 p.m. CST at the Poseyville Community Center, 60 N. Church St, Poseyville, IN 47633. We welcome all to share stories and fond memories of Tom beginning at 4:00 p.m.
