Trilogy to break ground on new senior living community in Ferdinand
Trilogy Health Services will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m. on the site of the new location for their current health campus in Ferdinand, Scenic Hills Care Center.
The site is located at the corner of St. Benedict Drive and East 5th Street, on property leased directly from the Sisters of St. Benedict. A name for the new community has yet to be determined.
Members of the community are invited to attend this event, which will feature comments from the Trilogy Health Services team, as well as statements from local officials. Attendees are also invited to a brunch at St. Benedict’s Brew Works following the event.
Currently, Scenic Hills Care Center is located at 311 East 1st Street in Ferdinand. Upon moving into their new campus, residents and staff will be able to enjoy upgraded, luxury surroundings and amenities, complete with hillside views of the nearby lake. An on-site chapel will also provide weekly mass for the campus’ residents. Accommodations will include an increased number of private rooms with private bathrooms.
In addition to offering the services currently available at Scenic Hills, which include skilled nursing, long-term care, short-term rehab, and memory care, the new Trilogy senior living community will be adding assisted living to the array of services offered. This will allow the new campus to cater to those across the healthcare spectrum, from those who may need some assistance with the activities of daily living to those who require more complex care.
Trilogy’s new community will also include their own Legacy Neighborhood concept, a stand-alone community that will provide 24-hour care and support for those with memory care needs. A sensory common area, residential style kitchen and private dining room are just a few of the neighborhood’s features.
While the neighborhood will staff its own set of specially trained caregivers and include a separate entrance for visiting family and friends, it remains within arm’s reach of the rest of the community, allowing residents and staff quick access to additional resources if needed.
Trilogy Health Services currently operates over 100 senior living communities throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Michigan.

I hope the new facility will allow patients to have more privacy. The current rooms are too small and 4 patients sharing 1 bathroom is horrible.
If you took/take time to read the entire story, I believe your concerns are/will be addressed for the most part.
Sound like it is over due. My Mother in law had a terrible room
