Wilstem Winter Fest underway

Wilstem Wildlife Park will host the Wilstem Winter Fest Light Show beginning Friday, November 12 and running though January 1.

The one-and-a-half-mile-long drive-thru light display will feature 2.5 million lights, a live nativity, and a chance to see Santa Claus.

Guests will enter a 200-foot drive-thru tunnel, which can be seen from the highway. They will be welcomed by Santa, Elves, and Mrs. Claus adorned in lights and may even get the chance to see the big guy himself.

The beautiful covered bridge will be adorned with lights followed by trees wrapped in lights and animated horses. Guests will then pass through the Victorian Holiday scene, multicolored spheres hanging from the trees, and then through the animal families consisting of buffalo, grizzly bear, giraffes, and elephants. Guests will see Santa playing sports with the reindeer, classic reindeer scenes, a poinsettia farm, woodland animals, and complete your trip through the 100-foot drive-thru tunnel.

See the animals during our Twilight Drive-Thru Safari. View and feed the animals in your personal vehicle and view the light show after. Or experience our NEW VIP Roos Tour, a limited edition tour of our Roo Barn with the Director of Animal Operations!  Both options are subject to an additional charge.

Winter Fest will be available starting TODAY, November 12th through January 1st starting at 6:30 pm.  For specific dates of operation or to purchase tickets visit www.wilstem.com.  Light show ticket pricing is $25 per car.  See website for details concerning safari.
