Winslow – Indiana State Police and Pike County Sheriff’s Department arrested a couple for manufacturing meth when they served a warrant for a community corrections violation.

Thursday evening at about 6 p.m., Trooper John Davis and Deputy Dallas Killian went to 1953 East Logtown Road near Winslow to serve an arrest warrant on Angel Bellamy, 36, for a community corrections violation.

When officers entered the residence they discovered small amounts of meth and numerous items commonly used to manufacture meth. During the investigation officers also determined Bellamy had ingested meth prior to their arrival.

Police took Angel Bellamy to Daviess Community Hospital in Washington where she was checked by medical staff before being incarcerated in the Pike County Jail.

Bellamy’s husband, Aaron, wasn’t at the residence when police initially arrived but he was arrested when he returned to the home. Police booked him into the Pike County Jail.

Police charged both with Class B felony manufacturing meth, as well as possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia, all Class D felonies. They are both being held without bond.

The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team removed all meth making materials from the residence.
