Police seeking stolen trailer full of building materials

A semi-tractor and trailer full of building materials was stolen over the weekend from a two Shoals businesses.

According to trooper Jarrod Lents, Sunday, August 24, a blue and steel colored 2007 Townscraft trailer with Indiana registration P156440 was stolen from the lot of Stonebelt Freight Lines, 10530 Freeman Road, Shoals. A 2006 Kenworth semi-tractor was stolen from Schilli Transportation Service located across the street at 10239 Red School Road early Sunday morning.

Police believe the Kenworth was used to take the trailer that contained several thousand dollars worth of building materials covered with a tarp.

– Blue/Steel colored 2007 Townscraft trailer, loaded with building materials covered with a tarp. Indiana Trailer Plate P156440, Trailer number 4971.
– White, 2006 Kenworth semi-trailer, Indiana Truck Plate 1162339, Truck number 9286 on the front bumper, driver’s side.
