Edward George Kupper, 83, Huntingburg

Edward George Kupper, 83, of Huntingburg, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

He was born October 6, 1933, in Saint Meinrad to Herman and Margaret (Stratman) Kupper. Edward married Peggy J. Eckert on October 6, 2010, in Huntingburg.

He was employed as a steel worker in Martinsville until his retirement. He was a member of Northside Christian Church and enjoyed playing rummy, working word puzzles, watching wrestling and Family Feud.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Goller, Theresa Kline, Helen Kelvins, Ann Hurm, Eugene, Clemines and John Kupper.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy J. (Eckert) Kupper of Huntingburg; his children, Gabriel “Gabe” (Sherry) Kupper of Winslow, Suzette (Doug) Bolin of Holland, Melissa (Chuck) Garrett of Stendal; step daughter, Angie (Ed) Harper of DuQuoin, Ill.; brother, Joe Kupper of Huntingburg; by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral 2:00 p.m. EDT Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Northside Christian Church in Huntingburg with burial at Fairmount Cemetery.  Pastor Ron Frazier will officiate.

Visitation 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements by Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Memorials can be made to Northside Christian Church.
