Judith Ann Buse, 77, Holland

Judith Ann Buse, 77, of Holland, passed away at 10:20 a.m., Monday, December 20, 2021, at Scenic Hills at the Monastery. 

She was born August 24, 1944, in Evansville, to Alvin and Edna (Niehaus) Schickel.

She married Andrew Buse, Jr. on August 21, 1970, at Augustana U.C.C. in Holland. 

Judith and Andrew owned and operated Buse’s Market in Holland for over 15 years and together, took care of Holland Park. She was a member of the Holland American Legion Post #343 and Augustana U.C.C. and worked in the office at the Holland Dairy. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Buse, Jr.; and two brothers, Jerry and Kenneth Schickel.

She is survived by two sons, Jamey (Ann) Sibrel of Evansville and Jay (Julie) Buse of Holland; and by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Judith Ann Buse will be at 2:00 p.m. EST on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. 

Burial will follow at Augustana Cemetery in Holland.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the day of the service.
