Substance Abuse Council 2022 meeting dates

The Dubois County Substance Abuse Council meets at 11 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Hickory Rooms A and B in the Jasper Public Library, with the exception of April.  The April meeting will be held in Cherry Rooms A and B in the Jasper Public Library. 

The meetings are open to everyone.

The mission of the Substance Abuse Council is to reduce the problems associated with substance abuse in Dubois County in order to enhance family and community life.  The Council receives funding from “user fees” collected from people convicted of substance related crimes in Dubois County. These funds are collected all year and awarded to local grantees in September of the following year. Grantees use the funds for prevention/education, treatment, and/or justice services within Dubois County. Less than a quarter of our funds are spent on administrative needs.
